The team at Universal Health for You is led by Ingrid Johansson, Certified Electro-Crystal Practitioner and Medical Intuitive.

Ingrid's Approach:

Ingrid guides clients to use a holistic approach to their well being in all aspects of life, including their relationship with self and others.

An unconditional relationship with clients is encouraged so that the client becomes empowered and not dependent on the health provider.

A Registered Nurse, Ingrid brings to the assistance of her clients not only her extensive background in medicine and nursing but also her Intuitive gifts, which enable her to see the whole picture and perceive gaps where other health professionals have not considered.

Many clients fly and travel to the Sunshine Coast just to have a thorough physical and emotional check-up or pamper themselves at Universal Health for You.

Universal Health for You provides a wide scope of services, products and therapies that relieve not only physical but also emotional and spiritual ailments. Initially established in South Australia the business moved to Nambour in 2001. A large percentage of the clinics South Australian clients still use many of its services and products.

Ingrid's life journey

Ingrid was born in Adelaide, South Australia. She was one of 11 children. Her father was intelligent, well educated and held a Managing Director's position. Although he was from a humble background he started his career with high achievements and financial success. Following an illness his life was never to be the same again. Poverty followed for the family.

Ingrid and her siblings were raised as strict Catholics and educated at Catholic schools and colleges. The Catholic Church subsidised their education. The family relied on charities to assist with food and clothing.

Ingrid often befriended the disabled or retarded children who were ridiculed by others. She never understood why children were unkind to each other. In fact it always made her feel sad.

Ingrid always felt isolated and different from other children. At a young age she would hypnotise herself, or by the power of her thoughts cause others to do harmless and funny things.

Ingrid trained at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and became the youngest Director of Nursing in South Australia at the age of 26. She was proactive and passionate about care of the elderly. One facility became a working model for other nursing homes and was used by volunteer organizations, government bodies and medical students as an example of a facility of excellence. Throughout this time Ingrid gained extensive experience on Working Parties at local and state government level.

Ingrid's sixth sense had been with her since an early age. The medical profession came to respect her "gut feeling", hence she was always able to fast-track medical attention, particularly in emergencies.

Over time Ingrid became ill, diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue and an unknown immune system condition. She felt disappointed by her own medical profession who admitted that little more could be done. Following exhaustive tests including a biopsy for cancer Ingrid turned to alternative theories. The answer was ‘closer to home' than she realised. Finally, Ingrid employed her own intuition to accurately "diagnose" and successfully treat her own illness. The Natural Health field soon became Ingrid's focus.

As Ingrid regained her health, her intuitive ability became even more profound. She began practicing as a medical intuitive, working with clients in person, and remotely, by mail and telephone, all over Australia and internationally.

Her daughter, Victoria, was in a low achievers' group at school. Although a bright child, she could not seem to retain information. In only one year after applying the principles now taught by Ingrid, Victoria's performance improved to 6 times the state average, a feat teaching staff said had never been seen before.

Ingrid has become a widely respected Natural Health Practitioner and the first Practitioner to be certified by Dr Harry Oldfield on Electro-Crystal Therapy in South East Queensland. Her highly developed intuition and channelling skills are utilised to assist and advise clients concerning their personal, family, physical and emotional health. On a lighter note, Ingrid can also offer assistance and advice with important purchases and business decisions.

Ingrid relocated to the beautiful Sunshine Coast of Queensland in November 2001 to continue her work and is supported by several allied health professionals with a diversity of skills.

Since her move to the coast an entire new world of expansion has occurred. Over the past few months she has been "receiving" inspirational music, followed by the words and lyrics. To those who have heard these songs it is truly music for the soul. The effect on a person is profoundly positive. It supports the facilitation of gentle change. Ingrid's latest inspiration is a singing meditation. By client demand she is now writing her channelled music and songs to CDs.

Ingrid's long-term vision is "To bring humanity into alignment with the essence of The Universe, empowering individual's who will then inspire others." With her latest inspirational music her visions are fast becoming a reality. As the inspirational ideas and channelled works tumble in, it is hard to keep up!
